Shinchoku was set up by Angelo Hulshout. After 25 years of working a software architect in different industries, he was looking for a way to use his experience in smart industry. With help from his personal network and organisations like Brainport Industries in The Netherlands and IntelliMech in Italy he founded Shinchoku in order to help manufacturers, especially the smaller ones, to make the step to Industry 4.0.
As part of this, Shinchoku also aims to make manufacturing more sustainable, so that future generations will be left with an inhabitable planet instead of a wasteland. This is real progress, which is the meaning the Japanese word Shinchoku.
